Hello Emily! Thank you so much for reading :). I also teach beginners French to Grade 8s! Parfois je suis un renard is my favourite for that level. Le jour où on a tous mangé ensemble and Nos boucles au natural are both simple for Grade 8s as well. The others are more suited for intermediate students. I hope that answered your question!
